How to Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit

The formula
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply the Celsius value by 9/5 and then add 32. Written as a formula: °F = (°C × 9/5) + 32.

0°C is 32°F, which is the freezing point of water under standard conditions. 100°C is 212°F, the boiling point of water under standard atmospheric pressure. These two points are useful for checking whether your calculation makes sense.
A simple example
For 25°C, multiply 25 by 9/5 to get 45, then add 32. The result is 77°F. This is a common room-temperature reference and a good mental check for the formula.
Going the other way
For Fahrenheit to Celsius, subtract 32 first and then multiply by 5/9. Keeping the two formulas separate helps avoid the common mistake of adding or subtracting 32 at the wrong stage.
